The Mall at Greece Ridge has expanded its security operations by adding a German Shepherd named Luna to the team. The K-9 unit began her patrol and protection duties at the Rochester shopping center this past weekend.
Why it matters
The introduction of a specialized security dog reflects a broader commitment by the facility to enhance safety measures for visitors and employees. This change marks a shift in how the local mall manages security coverage across its premises.
The mall has added one German Shepherd, Luna, to its active security team. This follows the mall's established security staffing levels which previously operated without K-9 support.
