Anker has introduced the Soundcore Nebula P1 projector, a 5.3-pound device that features detachable 10-watt wireless speakers. The unit, which supports HDR10, is designed for flexible audio placement in home media environments.
Why it matters
The modular speaker design allows homeowners to place audio sources away from the projector, facilitating a more immersive sound experience. This release follows a trend of portable projectors seeking to improve audio quality through hardware separation.
The Soundcore Nebula P1 carries a list price of $799 and offers 25,000 hours of light source lifetime. Each of the two 10-watt speakers requires 3 hours to charge and delivers up to 20 hours of battery life.

The projector utilizes magnetic pogo pins and spring-loaded nubs to attach the wireless speakers to the main stand for charging. Once detached, the speakers connect to the projector via Wi-Fi to maintain audio synchronization. The unit is rated IP33 for dust and water resistance, providing protection for occasional outdoor or versatile indoor use.

The Home Front
The introduction of the Soundcore Nebula P1 reflects a growing market shift toward modularity in home entertainment technology. Manufacturers are increasingly prioritizing detachable hardware to solve audio limitations inherent in portable projection equipment.
If you are planning a media space, check that your local Wi-Fi signal is strong enough to support the wireless speaker connection at the desired distance from the projector. Consider the 5.3-pound weight of the unit when selecting a stable mounting surface or shelf for your home setup.
The takeaway
The Soundcore Nebula P1 offers a balance of portability and enhanced audio through its detachable speaker system. To maintain battery health, ensure the 10-watt speakers are fully charged using the pogo-pin dock before your next extended movie night.
